I was born and raised in Tampa and entertainment grabbed him at an early age. As a kid growing up in Tampa, I was all about wrestling and becoming like my wrestling idol Dusty Rhoades. My dad and I used to watch Florida Championship wrestling every Saturday and I just knew that I was going to be a wrestler until I fell in love with music. If you're from Tampa, then you know we had 2 stations, Q105 and WTMP-AM. My mom had a record player and endless records so I was exposed to a lot of great artists and great music and I would imitate the DJ's that I was hearing on the radio.I graduated from Jefferson and was a class clown in school and I knew that a regular 9-5 wasn't for me so radio was the perfect fit. I get to be that class clown, play music and talk to people. After graduation, I moved to Orlando to attend Full Sail and while doing that, I stumbled into a radio internship at 102 Jamz in Orlando that led to me producing the Wake Up Posse which was the #1 urban morning show at the time. That opened the door for me to work a weekend shift on 102 Jamz and WTMP. I decided to move back to Tampa and was hired to produce the Freakshow show on Wild 98.7 for a couple of years. Once it became Wild 94.1 I was co-hosting the show as well as some other programming duties. Leaving Wild 94.1 after 13 years, was a tough period but it brought me back to Orlando on Power 95.3 which ultimately led me to Montgomery AL where I hosted my own Morning show on Y102. Now I am back and here to stay and ready to get my Vibe on with you on 101.5 The Vibe. #Vibewithyaboy Fun Facts: Who am I? A big silly ass adult kid who likes to have fun. Who is your favorite artist? Babyface hands down. Anyone that knows me, that has ever listened to me on the radio will know this. I've seen him in concert at least 10+ times over the years. I would say a close second would be George Michael. Don't hate, the man can sing lol and he has great songs. Favorite album? Damn, that's a tough question. I will have to talk about that on air. There are so many layers to that question. Who was your first celebrity crush? Olivia Newton John When did you start in radio? I started as an intern at 102 Jamz in Orlando in 97. What is your favorite food? PIZZA. If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be Pizza. Plain cheese, extra sauce. #THEBEST Best Pizza in Tampa Cappys on Bay to Bay. I know some people will disagree but I have tried my fair share of Pizza and they are the best. What was your first concert? Man, my brother took me to see Luke and the 2 live crew and this is why Luke has been one of my favorite artist. Luke is the unofficial Governor of Florida. What is your favorite movie? Top Gun People would be shocked to know? That I collect transformers. I have a large collection of G1 Transformers but I hate the movies because the characters are nowhere near the 80's cartoons and I feel that takes away from the authenticity.
