Isaiah Chavez

Isaiah Chavez began his radio career in 2007 at WNSC in Orlando, Florida with “The World”, a 3-hour block of news and events that are happening locally, nationally, and internationally. After three seasons on air, Isaiah changed format to a more laid-back approach program called “ChatStew,” a 2-hour block talking about personal life, advice, current social events and more. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Radio/TV, he spent a few months honing his skills at 88.5FM, and became a radio announcer for the morning drive. In June 2012, he found the place he calls “home,” Cox Media Group! He started as a board op, then a call screener, a producer on The Johnny B. Show and various other shows on 102.5 The Bone, and now a Producer for Frontpage Tampa Bay on The Vibe. When he is outside of the studios, he spends his time traveling, volunteering, and living life to the fullest! He is currently finishing up his Masters of Science in IT at Florida State University and then going to The University of West Florida for a Doctorates in Instructional and Performance Technology. Isaiah gives back to the Tampa Bay community serving as both a member and mentor within The Society of Broadcast Engineers, as well as a family advocate and job coach for Better Together, a non-profit organization that helps families.
