Lutz man wins $1 million prize with scratch-off card from Publix

A 63-year-old man in Hernando County, Florida, won a $1 million prize in the Florida Lottery after purchasing his ticket from a Publix in Lutz. Wilfredo Soto won his prize in the ‘$1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular’ scratch-off game, which offers top prizes of $1 million a year for life. Soto opted for a one-time lump-sum payment of $640,000. The store that sold the winning ticket will receive $2,000 as a bonus.
