SZA and Keke Palmer’s ‘One of Them Days’ Earns $11.6 Million Opening Weekend(Video)

Keke Palmer and SZA’s buddy comedy “One of Them Days” made history by topping the North American box office over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, earning $11.6 million. This marks the first Black female-led theatrical comedy since 2017′s Girls Trip. The R-rated film, produced by Issa Rae, follows two best friends in Los Angeles trying to come up with rent money after one of their boyfriends takes it. SZA’s feature film debut received praise from Palmer and Rae, with SZA expressing gratitude for the opportunity and growth experience. SZA will join Kendrick Lamar on the Grand National Tour in April.
