Taylor Swift’s surprise album “Folklore” had fans surprised when they heard the lyrics of her new song “Invisible String,” where the singer sang about sending her ex’s baby gifts. “Cold was the steel of my ax to grind/For the boys who broke my heart/Now I send their babies presents,” is the lyric that sent fans in a frenzy. Many fans took to Twitter with their guess of Joe Jonas as the subject of the lyric.
Taylor and Joe dated briefly in 2008 before he allegedly broke up with her over the phone, the call only lasted 27 seconds. Taylor called him out over the cold breakup on The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2008, which she later apologized for. “That was too much. Yeah, that was too much. I was 18. We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy, yeah, just teenage stuff there.” Taylor told Ellen.
