19 Year Old Arrested In Case Of Baby Found Dead On University Of Tampa Campus

19-year-old Brianna Moore was arrested on October 18, 2024 for the death of a baby she birthed on the University of Tampa campus on April 28, 2024. Moore was questioned by Tampa Police back in April and admitted to delivering the baby in the bathroom and holding the baby tightly to her body until she stopped crying.

She told investigators she placed the baby in a towel and put her in the trashcan.

She was arrested in Quitman, Mississippi, and charged with Aggravated Manslaughter of a Child, Child Neglect with Great Bodily Harm, Failure to Report Death, and Unlawful Storage of Human Remains. She is currently being held at Lauderdale County (MS) Jail, pending extradition back to Tampa.
