Riding a bus can be a convenient, cheap way of commuting but like anything else, it can come with headaches. A new poll asked thousands of bus travelers worldwide to rank the things that annoy them the most that other riders do and the #1 response was: Playing music too loud. Participating in sexual activity was second, followed by having poor personal hygiene. Those are the global rankings, but among Americans, the most annoying thing is poor personal hygiene, then playing music too loud followed by smoking or vaping, talking loudly and THEN in fifth it’s participating in sexual activity. Other annoyances further down the ranking include: Passing gas or burping, leaving trash around their seat, arguing with other passengers and reclining the seat without asking the person behind them first.
