Gordie’s Midday Gossip - Do you hold or go at work??

One in 12 Employees Have Never Pooped at Work

There’s a new survey out on bathroom habits at work, and one in 12 employees claim they have NEVER pooped at work and 34% are scared to do so. For most people, the biggest issue is “lack of privacy.”

Here are some stats:

One in 12 employees (8%) claim they have NEVER pooed at work, and 34% are scared to do so.

Nearly one in five employees (19%) refuse to poop at work unless it’s absolutely necessary. And one in four choose to hold it in all day and wait until they get home.

For most people, the biggest issue is “lack of privacy” . . . and that’s probably more common when they’re larger bathrooms, rather than one-person, lockable rooms.

“Embarrassment about the smell” is second . . . followed by “noise concerns,” “fear of judgement from coworkers,” “concerns about cleanliness,” and people who “can’t go in public, due to being ‘poop shy.’”

For what it’s worth, WOMEN are far more likely to dislike pooing at work.

Some common strategies for pooing comfortably at work include: Going during less busy times . . . waiting until the bathroom is clear . . . using air fresheners . . . and “mapping out your favorite bathrooms.”
