Serena Williams Says She Didn’t Appear in the Super Bowl Halftime Show Out of Pettiness. She did a “crip walk” during “Not Like Us”, a song that’s a direct attack on Drake . . . who just happens to be Serena’s ex. So was she sending him a message? Apparently not. Replying to a Tweet about the show, she said, quote, “Def not dancing to be petty lol. I think I proved 23 times over (not counting 4 gold medals) that I simply don’t have time for petty.” She added, quote, “All love and respect always nothing negative here.” The REAL reason Serena crip-walked has been pretty well-established by now. She and Kendrick are both from Compton and also, Serena took heat for doing that dance after winning gold at the Olympics in 2012.
